A fine G-Unit Day!

Howdy blog world!

Thought I'd make another of my wildly entertaining posts re-capping the day. All started out this morning when I had to get up at 6AM to drop my mom off at work (damn Scarborough, right when you think it's safe, a murder and sexual assault occur within a one block radius of her workplace!).

Went back to sleep till like 1:30, did the shave thing, bathed, and went out to get some brunch-ish food, which ended up being pizza. While waiting for the pizza, went over to the convenience store next door to get a 6/49 ticket, and lo and behold, I found the old ring pops, which for those who don't know, look something like this:

Anyhow, with regards to the ring pop, I thought it would be the PERFECT tongue in cheek joke for a co-worker of mine whom a certain someone named G-UNIT is smitten with! The previous day Mr. G-Unit had somehow coupled me and her together (out of jealousy perhaps?), and after telling her this we quibbed about how our tongue-in cheek relationship would work out, with me promising a nice ring! Hence today I presented her with a token of my "love", the ring pop!

After presenting the ring pop this person IMMEDIATELY rubbed it in Mr. G-Unit's face, giving him the jaw to the floor, "I can't believe Naveed beat me" look. It was I suppose something to witness to truly enjoy, and if you know G-Unit I'm sure you would! And seeing that he had probably lost all hope with this girl (he finally gets it!), he went on to have the following exchange with me around the fifth inning:

G-Unit : "Hey Naveed, have you seen ________ today?"
Naveed: "Yeah man, she just left to go home a few mintues ago."
G-Unit: "No man, I mean did you SEE her! She was absolutely stunning...."

To be truthful, everything after that was a blur as I was holding in my laughter as best I could. I'm sure there were a few Pittsburgh/Buffalo references, along with a good "I'd be putty in her hands" comment, but sufficed to say I think my boy G-Unit has moved on to new pastures!

Anyhow, the night ended with me, my boy Cedric (boy as in good friend!), and Jamie (another work buddy), heading out to Jack Astor's to chillax. All ended well and I'm soooo looking forward to tomorrow afternoon, where I where a TIE to work for the first time. Yes blog world, your boy Naveed is moving on up and becoming PROFESSIONAL before your own eyes!

Well, I think that's enough rambling for today, but before I forget, I'll have to pimp out the new song I'm totally digging. It's by a band in from Birmingham, UK called The Hollow, and the song is called What You Give Is What You Get. The song is just mint!

L8er Y'all!
