Saturday - ARRRRRGOOOOOOOOS!!!!

Saturday was primed to be a decent day, as I was going in to work an advance shift with Jason. In attempts to look professional, in fear of looking unprofessional, I donned the blue shirt and necktie (with pleated pants!) to work. What do I find when I get in but Jason, blue-jeaned and t-shirted, the first time I had EVER seen him like that at work! He gawks at me and says something like "What the hell are you wearing that for?" to which I respond by swiftly untying the necktie and stripping down to my t-shirt/undershirt and the pleated pants (that's all the stripping I did, nothing more, no matter what anyone says!).

The morning went by well, with me unloading my spindle of pirated TV shows, movies, and songs, to the amazement of Jason (I love being a pirate!). While preparing to watch the movies, I make a quick logon to MSN Messenger to check mail, say hello to a few people. Before I can, I get a few customers and once done I see that 4-5 people have tried to converse to me, leading to an open-jawed Jason blurting "People talk to you !?!? ". I must say, an ass-whupping was very much in order had it come from most people, but since the windows were open I relented ;) Jason TRIED to cover it up with an late-timed "....I mean by starting convo's" reply, but the damage was done. I think the lack of a necktie loosened Jason to the point that he thought my timidness from the night before would continue the next day :P

I DID forgive him for that mistake, but will still rib him about it. Things went well 'till around 2, when he went out to grab a bite to eat. Though everything was fine at that point, I think we should have kept in mind that an Argos game was occuring in the same building within the hour, and all Argos season ticket holders have vouchers for Jays tickets. Sufficed to say, I got HAMMERED with Argo vouchers for a 45 minute stretch, all alone, to the point that the line was swerving to other, closed, windows as they would have stretched out to the road! What was worse was that Jason was trying to phone gate 9 while I'm stuck, and refused to hang up, rendering me crazy as the damn phone kept ringing until thank god someone working upstairs finally picked it up. When I find out it was him saying he was stuck at Rabba, I felt like throttling someone/something! Finally he came back when I had handled a good portion of the rush, and totally mock ripped into him, saying how this must be a test of my vigilance, and how I think maybe we should'nt be friends anymore :P

With all that said, we did end up laughing at my Chappelle Show episodes on CD, and I hope are still good friends (I'll find out monday!). Once home, we decided to pop by my aunt's home to say hello and drop of a few things (namely, a 6-pack of coke in glass bottles, and a pirated copy of the new Rolling Stones album). We ended up watching the Women's Final of the US Open, with my girl Kim Clijster's whupping Mary Pierce. I've been an admirer of Kim for both her athletic and aesthetic talents, and was quite happy she won (I was happier the day before when she beat Sharapova - my bro's #1 fave).

Decent day, but as usual, with it's odd events!
