"When You Lose, Don't Lose The Lesson"

Hey yaars,

I haven't posted in a bit for a few reasons. Lab work has kept me busy for the most part, but so has the cricket, which in this case has turned against me, as Indian wallopped Pakistan in the Hutch Cup ODI series 4-1. Yeah, I could say that Pakistan was missing it's key players, but that's life I guess. We play them in a one-off next month in Sri Lanka, so I'm hoping they win, thought it's not the same!

Even worse off is the fact that Canada lost not once, but TWICE in hockey this week. Switzerland beating us was kind of flukey but Finland shutting us out? That's just not on!

Thank goodness the Pakistan Under-19 team gave me some solace. They made it to the U-19 World Cup Final to play off against India and fought back after being dismissed for 109 all out. They managed to reduce Indian to 9-6 and cleaned them up for 70 runs to defend their title. The U-19 Tournament is a lot like the World Juniors in hockey, it's a showcase of the up and comers of the game. Hoepfully one of these dudes will be an India-killer in the near future.

Anyhow, in tribute of a great 45 days of cricket between neighbours, I posted a tribute video up top, It's pretty cool and just might be seizure-inducing, but I highly recommend giving it a go!

Oh yeah, and the quote that is the title of this post is from His Holiness, the Dalai Lama. YES, I do have some knowledge of spirituality outside of the Muslim faith!
