Here at last, here at last!

After another typical debacle, I finally managed to receive my working Dell! And as always, there's an amusing tale behind it all.
Yesterday afternoon when I left you all to take a nap, I rested in the living room in hopes of hearing a knock. Finally after picking up my mom from work, and STILL not having myDell, I called Purolator to find out that a deliveryman HAD come at around 2:30, yet could not find our buzzer code at the entrance. There's only one bloody Rathore on the list for goodness sake! The customer service rep. quibbed that perhaps the deliveryman was looking for "Naveed Rathore" on the board. Once again, I would have to trek to Midland/Finch to collect my computer. Graciously the CSR made a note for the location to phone me once the package was received. What pissed me off moreso was the fact that UPS arrived on time to pick up the faulty computer which I was suppose to give after receiving the new one from Purolator!
This is the point where the anchor gets thrown into the equation. My mom wanted to have her precious groceries done, pronto. In which I obliged, leading to the inevitable row. This time I made her cry for the first time in about two months. And it all started because I asked if I was still covered under the health benefits plan from her workplace.
Somehow I managed to refocus my energy on the excitement of the computer and after still not being contacted at 7:30, I decided to take Zan with me to Purolator. Knowing that it's a government agency (albeit loosely), I hypothesized that it would probably be there, yet wasn't scanned due to the ineptitude of their clerks. And of course I was right.
So after a long 8 hour run burning the midnight oil, I've manged to realize that I've gone from a Hyandai to a Ferrari in computing terms. At the moment I'm super happy. Zan remarked that it looked like I might even be happy in the pants (well, maybe not THAT happy!). Unfortunately as all my tools for pirating glory are on the old computer, I've spent all day using the old system to burn and transfer them. Oh and of course the 3,000 or so MP3's that I can't live without.
Alright, I'm going to surf some more. Talk to you all soon!
