Yes, we lost.

Hey yaars,
I'm admittedly a bit down this morning, as my beloved Pakistan team lost to India by 5 runs in the final of the Inaugural ICC World Twenty20 tournament. And yes, I almost cried.
The Pakistan team bowled very well in restricting India to 158/5 in it's innings. Unfortunately, as always, our batting unravelled, almost embarrassing themselves at one point when they were 78/6. Thankfully, it seems the team has discovered a gem in Misbah Ul-Haq, who once again saved the day, and came oh-so-close to being Superman. He carried the team to what was a catchable score to obtain, he JUST fell short in the end though.
In trying to be positive, I have to say this is the first Pakistan losing side that I'm proud of. While they couldn't come through with the victory, they showed their character in bouncing back from ridiculous circumstances. Nobody in their right mind (including me, the biased optimist) would have expected these performances. I only hope they carry this positive momentum throughout the next few series against South Africa, Australia, and India.
Plus, there's always another World Cup (and this time I'll only have to wait ONE year!).
